We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, contact details, profile information, and verification documents — as well as limited technical data needed to operate the service.

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to create your profile, surface compatible matches, verify your identity, process payments, and keep the community safe.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Contact details and privacy

Your contact details — including your phone, WhatsApp and social handles — are kept hidden from other members until you and another member have both expressed interest. You remain in control of who can reach you.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use analytics to understand how our website is used — for example, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve it. This includes Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track you across other websites.

We may also use Google Analytics, which can set cookies to measure visits. Where required, we will ask for your consent before it runs, and you can decline or opt out through your browser settings. Analytics data is aggregated, is not used to identify you personally, and is never sold.

If you arrive through a link with a referral code, for example a post we shared in a group, we keep that code in a small cookie for 30 days so we can count which posts bring people to MatchMan. The cookie holds only the code, nothing about you.

5. Verification documents

Documents submitted for verification are access-controlled, used solely for verification, and are not shared with other members.

6. Data retention and deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from your account settings. We remove data in line with applicable law.
